Hey Guys,

So Virgin has gotten it's shit together and have finally released information about it's summer music festival. The location has moved from Toronto to Barrie at Burl's Creek Park. Unlike in Toronto, Camping is now available (for a fee).

The line-up is pretty good:
The Pixies, Ben Harper, Franz Ferdinand, NIN, Sloan, Pet Shop Boys, Our Lady Peace, N.E.R.D., Cold War Kids etc etc.

Weekend passes are $99.00 and go on sale on the 18th of July at 12pm est. Camping tickets are $100.00 (a ridiculous rip off in my opinon, but what are you gonna do)

ughh,
i'm pissed that it's been moved to Barrie.
and the lineup is SOO not as good as the other provinces!!!!
HELLO, THE KILLERS?!

Haven't seen the other line ups yet but The Killers definitely can't top The Pixies. If I went, I'd be going for The Pixies hands down. I don't think they're playing any other North American dates.

oh yes, I agree, nothing can top The Pixies.
But there were waaaayy better lineups for the other provinces...

Pearl Jam, White Lies, Broken Social Scene, Black Eyed Peas(who I don't much care for anyways)

Acts like Amy Winehouse and Oasis once graced the Toronto V-Fest stage..

oh well.
I'm just excited for Paolo Nutini.
I've missed his concerts like 2 years in a row.
