Blue Velvet, David Lynch and 1986... It has all the Hipster Calling Cards; Cult classic film, it's Retro and of course David Lynch.Also, it can be credited for the revival of PBR beer in Americas subculture scene.
I would argue that Canada doesn't have a PBR equivalent, because to Canadians all beer is good beer, and no Canadian hipster would dare disgrace the name of beer in an attempt at being ironic...pffft. They know better.
Never the less PBR has become synonymous with the hipster scene and is their preferred beverage of choice.
